2006 SWFWDA Quarterly, YO Ranch

Mountain Home, Texas

September 28th thru October 1st, 2006

Chris loaded Barry and I his trailer and we were set to go.

Barry is all traction.

This stock TJ makes it up Lonny’s Lookout.

Jim from Dallas would break an axle later in the day.

This trip was one for the daughters.

The Sami got YANKED up the hill.

Dan should be very afraid….

Jeep bling

Brad could spot a freight train up a staircase.

Kelsey starts to trust Dad’s driving.

We almost get buffaloed on the way back.

Tommy shows up later that day.

At the end of day one, we share a few stories.

Day two, Tommy gets to see some real trails.

The Red Rocker starts out great.

Tommy’s got the Bronco set up good.

Jay’s 4:10s and ARBs are working good.

Even after and bad ankle injury in camp, Brad comes out for a while.

This lifted Rubicon busted a difficult climb.

This trail was new to me and really scenic.

A limestone kickstand is good for a break.

Now for some tougher stuff.

This H2 had some lift and lockers.

I pass on this climb, but Barry made it fine.

Then Jay makes it….and Tommy.

This gentleman from Waco dug it out nice, then backed off.

After much ribbing from my FRIENDS, I was talked into coming back and trying this climb. Kids, you should NEVER circum to peer pressure.

Click here for the video of the result.

Thanks for Barry, Jay, and Greg for returning to this spot to install a new axle. And a special thanks to Ray from Jeep Masters for supplying the axle.
