Superlift 2005
Gilmer, Texas
Nov. 11th-13th, 2005
We get started on a tough climb.
This Bronco from Spring, Texas lodges against a tall ledge.
After snapping a rear axle he needed some assistance.
Robert and Tanner keep an eye on the progress.
Matt gives him a lift and we are off.
You should always take a veteran wheeling on Veteran’s day. (Dan Midkiff, US Navy retired)
We head back up front to sign up for more trails.
This XJ demonstrates it’s lack of flex.
Can you count the number of safety violations in this picture?
Out of the way, the Red Rocker will show you how.
Matt brings his Bronco up the trail.
Tanner and Robert watch through the fall colors.
This sweet CJ has little problem.
Tanner scopes out the Jeeps from the crow’s nest.
The boys check out the Superlift project truck.
No problem, just REATTACH that spring perch to the frame.
You had to take this decent slow and easy.
This was one well done CJ7 build.
Juuuuust kissed that hard top.
Myself and others took the high road to avoid body damage.
Clyde’s ravine did provide some flex points.
We passed the A-team at the bottom of a tough hill.
We always have to get a shot of the Red Rocker lifting a wheel.
The perfect Jeep vanity plate. (he said his wife got it for him)
Just miss that tree and we are done.
Another one makes it up the slick hill
We stop on the way back to camp to watch this Scout ATTEMPT a tough climb.
