2002 Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree

Amarillo, Texas

May 17th & 18th, 2002

The Red Team is ready to roll

We spotted some wild monkeys near the staging area

We also spotted Todd's shock dangling

The first kodak moment was Todd at Mike's rock

At this particular moment, it was GORDON'S rock

It wasn’t long before Pat took the wheel and let me be the camera man.

Pat catches on quick

These stair steps were no problem for the Jamboree freshman

At the lunch break, Pat enjoys the view of turtle rock in the distance

Over our Trail Leaders roof, you can see the campers that stayed in the canyon.

Tanner exits the Jeep stage left.

Back to camp at the top of the canyon.

The kids had PLENTY of room to roam at the end of the day.

Jarred celebrates his 3rd birthday in the Leander Luxor

The second day we hit the obstacles imediately. This TJ was from Nebraska.

Pat lines up for this tough climb.

No problem....

Sam walks right up it as well

Jim's CJ5 had no problems either

Narrow arroyo, no problem

Lined up for some more fun

At the lunch break we get this great shot of the Red Team

Riley, Tanner and Jarred were more interested in exploring than lunch

Sam say's, Back to your rides for more fun.

Many of the trail rides wove in and out of the arroyos

Tanner checks out the layers of the red west Texas soil.

The end of day two, Pat gets cocky and lifts the tires at will

The Red Rocker sits quietly alone and bids goodbye to the Canyon
