2001 Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree
Amarillo, Texas
May 4th & 5th, 2001
Day 1 - Rain out. The trail down to the canyon was took dangerous. They sent 3 trail leaders down into the canyon and they couldn't get out. And we know what kind of jeeps the trail leaders drive!!
Day 2 - Cleared off and we were FINALLY able to enter the canyon.
We line up at the canyon's edge, ready for the decent.
Once in, it was hurry up and wait.
The Red Rocker is perched for a bird's eye view.
This guy drove his TJ all the way from Minnesota!
The yellow TJ on the hillside, was from Colorado, and he just broke a spider gear!
Bruce was nice enough to polish my nerf bars for me.
The Red Rocker is ready for blast off.
Tanner and Cody take chill out in Jeep alley.
We collected a LOT of mud in some areas. The CJ in front is from Wisconsin.
Some more of the splendor of Palo Duro Canyon.
Tanner and Cody count sheep on the trip back to town.
At a fuel stop in Wichita Falls, the boys discuss, Moab or Rubicon next????
