Camp Jeep 2002

Branson Missouri

July 25, 26, and 27

Tanner and Austin are ready to head out to the trails.

In the distance you can see other groups making there way into the Ozarks.

Jeeps of all sorts could be seen here.

Then off for some trail rides. We did the intermediate trails on day one.

Now off to the Camp Jeep fairgrounds in Highlandville. More vintage jeeps.

And new custom jeeps.

And SURFER jeeps.

Tanner decided to try out the rock climbing.

And Austin quickly followed. Austin rang the bell on the second day.

Then they decided to try the skateboarding.

The second day we could only get signed up for the SCENIC trail. It was nice, if you like 2WD. Here is the staging area.

Day 3, extreme trail. It was OK, but no YO ranch. The beautiful Ozarks made it nice.

I didn’t follow the mid-gunner too close, he was leaking gas in his CJ5.

We quickly got stalled when another group broke a jeep on the hillside.

Here is said hillside, it had some major obstacles on it.

Derek, from Tennessee, lost a heim joint on the way up. Very sharp CJ2A!!!!

The broken heim allowed the pumpkin to rotate which took out the U-joints.

He had parts and got it going soon. I’m sure he was glad to have his brother Doug(not pictured) following in his TJ.

The Red Rocker performed well on the trails.

Heck, I even helped this bad TJ out of a jam. (4 cylinders rule)

I snapped a photo of this UT jeep for my nephew. Nice lift Michael!!
